Looking to host a memorable, food-focused gathering? At Southernish, we offer a range of private event experiences designed to bring people together around great food and even better company.

We currently offer three styles of private events, but collaboration is at the heart of what we do. If you have something specific in mind or a unique idea you’d like to explore, we’d love to hear from you—please don’t hesitate to reach out. Please note, at this time alcohol is not available at Southernish. Should you wish to incorporate alcohol into your event, we recommend reaching out to our friends Pollyanna Social to explore their off-site bar options (additional fees, and availability restrictions apply.)

Hands-On Cooking Classes

Our fully interactive cooking classes are similar to our public offerings, but include only your personal guestlist. Guests work together to prepare a full menu, learning techniques along the way in a fun, engaging environment.

Perfect for team-building, celebrations, or anyone who wants a true culinary experience.

Cooking Parties

These experiences are light on the cooking and big on the fun. Cooking parties focus on a single skill or concept, with chef-prepared components to help you create a delicious, shared meal without spending the entire time cooking.

  • $1,200 for up to 16 adults

  • Maximum capacity: 16 adults

Personal Chef Experiences

Enjoy a fully customized, chef-driven dining experience in our Lemont studio. Our team will design a personalized menu and handle every detail, so you can relax and enjoy time with your guests.

Due to the personalized nature of these events, we recommend reaching out directly to discuss pricing and options.

We’d love to cook with you- submit a request and we will get back to you ASAP to work out the details. Submitting a request does not guarantee the space for the date/time requested. We will reach out and confirm the booking via email.

Private events are typically booked a few months out, and currently we are accepting private bookings for the full calendar year.
